According to data released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the steel enterprises in the Chinese Hebei provinces realized the aggregate gross profits of RMB9.02 billion in the first quarter of this year, jumping by 34.75% year on year.
In the first quarter of this year, the operating revenues generated by steel enterprises in Hebei province amounted to RMB329.709 billion, rising by 7.01% year on year. Meanwhile, the aggregate gross profits realized by large and medium-sized steel companies in China totaled RMB2.486 billion in the first quarter of this year, according to data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
